Pattern Play

I have always been a fan of the pattern on pattern looks you see on all of the street style blogs like Stockholm StreetStyle and the Satorialist.  I am typically a big fan of neutrals, so I thought I would try the pattern look, but tone it down for my first run at work.  But seriously how cute are Blair E.'s floral pants and lepoard top. I die.

Coffee Run

Sometimes I wish I lived in a city where I could pop out of the office for a quick coffee break in the middle of the day.  Something about a large iced coffee on a warm June day or maybe it is just since I have been looking at these lovely ladies and their killer street style.  Today coffee is definitely a girls best looking accessory.

Kinda Knotty

Don't you think all these ladies look lovely? They all have something in common, a knotted shirt.  I love this look because I think it gives a little pizzazz to what could be a pretty boring t-shirt or blouse. Michelle from Second Street East, jazzes up a grey tee while Jane from See Jane, knots up a silk blouse.  Both are super cute looks that I cannot wait to try this weekend with my new jean shorts from Anthropologie. It is funny because it reminds me of when I was little and I used to knot the side of my shirt with a scrunchie.  (I think I had every color imaginable).  What do you think about this flashback to the 90s trend?

Crazy for Gingham

Don't you just love this litte checked pattern.  It reminds most of picnics in the park with red and white gingham tablecloths but done correctly it turns into chic pattern that pairs well with interiors, fashion and food.  I have four J Crew gingham shirts in my closet and I have have been tempted to buy more.  Blair Eadie from Atlantic-Pacific might have an addiction similar to mine.  That closet pic is of her collection and she always does such a great job styling this cute pattern.  This preppy pattern goes with just about anything

Your Boyfriend's Jeans

This weekend my favorite "weekend" jeans made their last appearance.  They have had a tear for quite some time but I still wear them because they are so dang comfortable.  They were old Citizens of Humanity from about 7 years ago and were baggy, worn in and I am so sad to see them go.

Good news is that I think I found a more cost- effective replacement when browsing through Gap yesterday.  These Gap Boyfriend Jeans may do the trick.  They look super comfortable but still cute enough to wear with heels like, Blair from Atlantic Pacific or Emily from Cupcakes and Cashmere

You can get these cuties here..I bet they will sell out fast.
