Feeling Dizzy

   

I love this chevron pattern and especially Rubie Green.  Her fabrics are so dainty yet sophisticated. The chevron pattern gives such a modern touch to my traditional style. A possible option for accent pillows on our new white couch or maybe an upholstered bench in the entry way.

Happy Friday

 

Goodmorning and Happy Friday! After staying up late painting our cute new apartment, I am in dire need of a cup of jo! The only problem is my darling monogram mug is all packed up and ready to move. Just keep reminding myself that it is Friday!  

Also, don’t these muffins look to die for? Treat day next Friday possibly?

Perfect Blueberry Muffins

5 tablespoons (2 1/2 ounces or 71 grams) unsalted butter , softened
1/2 cup (3 1/2 ounces or 100 grams) sugar
1 large egg
3/4 cup sour cream or plain yogurt
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon zest
1 1/2 cups (6 3/4 ounces or 191 grams) all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoon (7 grams or 1/4 ounce) baking powder
1/4 teaspoon (1 gram) baking soda
1/4 teaspoon (2 grams) salt
3/4 cup (3 3/4 ounces or 105 grams) blueberries, fresh or frozen (if frozen, don’t bother defrosting)

So, since the holidays are over I am in need of a change from my festive Essie Lollipop nailpolish. I must have been dreaming of summer when looking at these colors. But at least they would brighten up my day, right?

All I can think about today is moving into my new condo on Saturday, so naturally I have been consumed by looking at kitchenware.  These measuring cups are about as cute as they come, especially next to this coffee table book, Food Fashion and Friends by Fleur Wood.  Too cute!
